The Christmas Carousel Show at the Abilene Civic Center

The Abilene Junior League is hosting our annual Christmas Carousel Show this weekend! November 6-9, 2008 It’s so exciting to be participating in it again this year. If you are in the area please make it a point to stop in this year. There is tons of fabulous booths and gifts items to get a start on your Christmas list. Our booth is located near the south entrance . We are unveiling lots and lots of unique gifts items and Christmas décor at the show.

It's Been A While

Whewwwww! I have been so busy that I looked up today and it is NOVEMBER! Where did the last couple of months go? I lost track of time working and attending football games. The days flew by without me noticing.

I did manage to decorate my table for fall...take a look.....

Elizer's Baby Shower

I had to post this in honor to Elizer who is going to be a first time momma. Congratulations Ellie!

Over the weekend my sister- in- law and I, threw my step-daughter a baby shower. I never had hosted one before, so all of it was kinda new to me. It was awesome and we all had lots of fun. Many thanks to everyone for your heartfelt wishes.

The Color Green

I have a thing for the color green. I don’t know why. I just love the way it reminds me of a nice manicured lawn or maybe because it is the color of our greenbacks. I really can't pin point it.

I have different shades of green in my kitchen and on my bathroom walls. I also have a large French wardrobe painted in the green color shown below in my living area. It seems I can’t get enough of it.

As soon as I put something in the store in this color it vanishes. I guess I am not alone.

Fainting from the Heat.....

It’s hot out there ! Nothing like taking a nap in the cool air on this fainting sofa! It is just a fabulous piece and comfy too.
